A Big Day for Giving Back

In March 2025, the Amapas Neighborhood Association (ANA) proudly took part in the first-ever Hands-On Vallarta Volunteer Fair, held at the Joint Co-working Hotel. The event brought together over 20 local groups, giving residents a chance to connect with organizations that make a real difference in Puerto Vallarta. The atmosphere was full of energy as neighbors explored ways to give back. From environmental efforts to cultural programs, there was something for everyone.

Local Causes, Big Impact

ANA shared the spotlight with a wide variety of groups. Animal rescue teams, children’s homes, food banks, and many more were all there to share their missions and invite new volunteers. Visitors had the chance to learn about causes that matched their interests. Some were drawn to beach cleanups and nature projects, while others felt inspired by groups focused on education, community care, or preserving local culture.

Spreading the Word About Amapas

For ANA, the fair was a great chance to talk about their work in the Amapas neighborhood. Volunteers explained ongoing projects like beautification, safety improvements, and green space efforts. Many fairgoers were hearing about ANA for the first time, and several signed up to learn more or join upcoming events.
