ABOUT US

The Amapas Neighborhood Association (ANA) serves as the primary bridge between residents—many of whom are not Mexican citizens—and government offices. Representing hundreds of members, ANA ensures key topics remain a priority for officials and on the agendas of important meetings.

Through partnerships with the City of Puerto Vallarta, ANA undertakes projects that neither party could accomplish alone. Recent successes include road improvements on Calle Hortensias, crosswalk paintings and pedestrian sidewalks along Highway 200, and the renovation of the Amapas Stairs. Our upcoming Road to Safety initiative aims to enhance Highway 200 safety, support residents affected by the Calle Santa Barbara collapse, and develop emergency evacuation plans for northern beach areas in Amapas.

ANA also coordinates the Amapas “Neighborhood Watch” WhatsApp group, enabling direct and effective communication with local police. Members can join the group by contacting our administrator. REMEMBER: For emergencies, dial 911. For non-urgent issues ANA might be able to assist with, reach out to our administrator during business hours.
